Project Hover was created in Unreal Engine.
The goal was to create a 3rd person game that utilised traversal mechanics and a level space that complimented them.
The 3x traversal mechanics that were selected and implemented were as follows.
The level space was created so that all of the mechanics were usable and justified, meaning that the player would have to learn and utilise each mechanic either separately or in conjunction with one another in order to progress.
The UI for the player was located on the players backpack. This was to show the remaining charges left at the players disposal.
Throughout the level the player could acquire 2x different upgrades that affected the 'Charge Speed' and 'Charge Capacity'.
This meant as the level progressed, the player would need to combine these abilities in order to continue and finish the level.
