UI / UX Design
This prototype was made in Unity for a card battle game that only concentrates on the User Interface and User Experience.
This project contained no gameplay functionality, it's sole purpose was to learn how to implement a 'User Interface' that was simple and easy to navigate.
Using basic design principles such as 'Semiotics & Affordances' I created a 3D transitioning menu utilising Unity's CineMachine asset. These design choices were stressed tested at the time by my 6 year old daughter. She was able to navigate the menu's with ease showing the systems design worked as intended.
It was important that the users inputs were limited to a few clicks and still be able to end up at any given screen.
The 3D transitions were purely intended to enrich the user experience further and make navigating the UI a little more pleasing.
